Dental Veneers

Dental veneers are thin, custom-made shells of tooth -colored materials designed to cover the front surface of the front teeth to improve the appearance

Veneers – Porcelain veneers are ultra-thin, specialist technician designed layers of porcelain which fit over the surface of stained teeth, misshapen teeth or broken teeth to improve their shape and colour while preserving as much of the healthy tooth as possible. The may teeth require a small amount of preparation prior to the creating the veneers. They are placed using the adhesive technology and can make a huge improvement in your smile.

Composite veneers and smile design – Composite veneers, also known as direct veneers, are made out of tooth coloured resin filling materials. They can be used to improve the appearance of damaged or discoloured teeth, teeth with gaps or teeth which are not aligned.
Composite veneers do not require teeth drilling and can often be done without having an injection!

Teeth Straightening

Many of us would love to have straighter teeth but are not open to having fixed braces.

Aligner systems are an advanced dental technology available to straighten your teeth. They utilise a type of clear aligner that is easier to remove and clean and offers many advantages over some  other braces.  The systems that we use at Hadley Green Dental are Invisalign and Smilelign.

These aligner systems offer more flexibility in that although professionally monitored, they generally don’t require as many visits to the dentist or the worries normally associated with wired traditional braces.  Some of the key advantages of clear aligners are that they can be removed (if need be) for any important social events or engagements during the course of your treatment, and generally give the appearance of almost being invisible.

An aligner can be thought of as being similar to a mouth guard and must be worn for up to 23 hours every day during the entire course of your treatment. The aligners encourage your teeth to move into the correct position gently, so you can enjoy straighter teeth and a better attractive smile without the need for a fixed traditional orthodontic brace/device.

When you attend for a teeth straightening  consultation, we will first discuss which is the best teeth straightening treatment for your individual case. Once this is  established, we will perform a thorough examination of your teeth, taking x-rays and impressions for our laboratory.

A treatment plan will be devised to show you the potential end result which can be achieved.

Once the plan has been agreed, we will move on to creating your first set of customised  Invisalign clear  aligners.

You will then need to be seen at Hadley Green Dental  every two or  four weeks so we can check the alignment of your teeth and provide you with a new set of aligners. Each aligner is created to adjust the positioning of your teeth and encourage movement. Once treatment has been completed, you will be provided with a retainer to maintain your new smile.
